Tex. Health & Safety Code § 98.1047 – Studies on Long-term Care Facility Reporting of Adverse Health Conditions

(a) The department shall study which adverse health conditions commonly occur in long-term care facilities and, of those health conditions, which are potentially preventable.
(b) The department shall develop recommendations for reporting adverse health conditions identified under Subsection (a).
