In this chapter:

1. (1) "Bond" means a bond required by this chapter to be given by a person appointed to serve as a guardian.
2. (1-a) "Declaration" means a declaration taken by a person appointed to serve as a guardian to qualify to serve.
3. (2) "Oath" means an oath taken by a person appointed to serve as a guardian to qualify to serve.
