Receipt and Deed

Effective Sep 1, 2017Added by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1012 (H.B. 1470)

The trustee or substitute trustee shall:

  1. (1) provide the winning bidder with a receipt for the sale proceeds tendered; and

  2. (2) except when prohibited by law, within a reasonable time:

    1. (A) deliver the deed to the winning bidder; or
    2. (B) file the deed for recording.
