S.C. Code Ann. § 59-53-1240

General powers of commission

1962 Code SECTION 21-708.24; 1963 (53) 276.

The commission is vested with authority to:

  1. (1) Employ personnel;
  2. (2) Accept and administer funds or equipment from other governmental agencies, individuals, or corporations;
  3. (3) Enter into such contracts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of the center; and
  4. (4) Acquire, own, and sell property, real and personal.
