For purposes of this article:

1. (a) "passenger" means any individual served by a public transportation provider including charter bus activities;
2. (b) "bus" means any passenger bus or other motor vehicle having a seating capacity of not less than ten passengers operated by a public transportation provider for the purpose of carrying passengers, including charter passengers;
3. (c) "public transportation" is as defined in item (10) of Section 58-25-20;
4. (d) "public transportation provider" means any operator who offers or delivers public transportation;
5. (e) "public transportation vehicle" means any configuration of equipment for the purpose of providing public transportation.
