S.C. Code Ann. § 56-3-1120
Section effective until May 6, 2022.
The Department of Motor Vehicles may issue a special license plate with the words "Disabled Veteran" and a special number imprinted on it showing that the license plate was issued to a disabled American veteran.

2021 Act No. 38, Sections 2, 3, provide as follows:
"SECTION 2. Articles 7, 8, 14, 15, 16, 33, 38, 43, 53, 55, 56, 63, 68, 74, 84, 88, 99, 101, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 110, 111, 112, 115, 116, 117, 129, 131, 132, 143, and 144, Chapter 3, Title 56 are repealed.
"SECTION 3. This act takes effect one year after approval by the Governor."
