S.C. Code Ann. § 56-3-2680
Section effective until January 18, 2024.
Any person violating the provisions of this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days.

2023 Act No. 51, Sections 32 and 40(C)(1), provide as follows:
"SECTION 32. Article 29, Chapter 3, Title 56 of the S.C. Code is repealed."
"[SECTION 40.](C)(1) SECTIONS 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 30, 31, 32, and 33 take effect eight months after the approval by the Governor, provided that necessary solicitations are awarded in a timely manner in accordance with the State Consolidated Procurement Code."
