The producers of a commodity board shall be practical producers of the affected commodity and shall be citizens and residents of this State, over the age of twenty-five years, each of whom is and has been actually engaged in producing such affected commodity within the State for a period of five years and has during that period derived a substantial portion of his income therefrom. The qualification of members of the board as herein set forth must continue during their terms of office.
