Monies paid by any Crimestoppers, Inc., for information that results in the arrest of any individual or individuals where monies are also confiscated and subsequently forfeited pursuant to Section 44-53-530 must be reimbursed from the forfeited monies to the Crimestoppers making the payment. The reimbursement must be for the amount of money paid, not to exceed one thousand dollars, upon a determination by the court that the money paid by Crimestoppers, Inc., was used for information that resulted in that arrest and forfeiture of money.
