Tests for inclusion of substance in Schedule II

1962 Code SECTION 32-1510.32; 1971 (57) 800.

The Department shall place a substance in Schedule II if it finds that:

  1. (a) It has a high potential for abuse;
  2. (b) It has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, or currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions; and
  3. (c) Abuse may lead to severe psychic or physical dependence.
