S.C. Code Ann. § 44-53-1480
Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not more than two hundred dollars or be imprisoned for not more than thirty days. Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense. Violations existing within individual dwellings, dwelling units or child care facilities shall be considered separate violations. No person shall be convicted of violating Section 44-53-1340 unless it is proved that he had actual knowledge that he was violating any of the acts prohibited by Section 44-53-1340.
