S.C. Code Ann. § 44-43-20
(A) A person may lawfully donate blood if he is:

The 2006 amendment made nonsubstantive changes.
The 2008 amendment rewrote this section to add the provision relating to parental permission for persons sixteen years of age to donate blood.
