"Extended benefit period" means a period which

1. (1) Begins with the third week after a week for which there is a state "on" indicator; and

2. (2) Ends with either of the following weeks, whichever occurs later:

   1. (a) The third week after the first week for which there is a state "off" indicator.
   2. (b) The thirteenth consecutive week of such period. No extended benefit period may begin by reason of a state "on" indicator before the fourteenth week following the end of a prior extended benefit period which was in effect with respect to this State.

2021 Joint Resolution 67 (S.468), Section 1, provides as follows:

"SECTION 1. In a determination of whether the State is in an extended benefit period beginning on November 1, 2020, through December 31, 2021, the provisions of Section 41-35-310(2)(b), relating to the stipulation that no extended benefit period may begin before the fourteenth week following the end of a prior extended benefit period, shall not apply."
