Additional requirements of runners

Former 1976 Code SECTION 38-63-130 [1985 Act No. 189, SECTION 1] recodified as SECTION 38-53-120 by 1987 Act No. 155, SECTION 1; 1998 Act No. 425, SECTION 2.

In addition to the other requirements of this chapter, an applicant for a license to be a runner shall show affirmatively that:

  1. (a) the applicant will be employed by only one bail bondsman who shall supervise the work of the applicant and is responsible for the runner's conduct in the bail bond business;
  2. (b) the application is endorsed by the appointing bail bondsman who shall obligate himself in the application to supervise the runner's activities.
