S.C. Code Ann. § 37-11-100
The department, upon proper notice and hearing in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act and department regulations, may deny, suspend, or revoke licenses issued under this chapter or assess a monetary penalty for violations of provisions under this chapter or the regulations promulgated under this chapter.
