A tribunal of this State shall recognize a modification of its earlier child support order by a tribunal of another state which assumed jurisdiction pursuant to a law substantially similar to this subarticle and upon request, except as otherwise provided in this subarticle, shall:

1. (1) enforce any arrearage and provide other appropriate relief for violations of the modified order which occurred before the effective date of the modification;
2. (2) enforce the modified order to the extent it was not superseded by the modification; and

3. (3) recognize the modifying order of the other state, upon registration, for the purpose of enforcement.

   Full faith and credit "last-in-time" rule as applicable to sister state's divorce or custody judgment which is inconsistent with forum state's earlier judgment. 36 ALR5th 527.
