S.C. Code Ann. § 16-13-181
Any person who has been injured or suffered damages because of a violation ofSection 16-13-180 may bring an action in the circuit court against the person convicted of the violation for three times the amount of damages suffered, if any, plus costs of the action and reasonable attorney fees.
