The Governor shall be furnished with a suitable office, to be called the executive chamber, in which all petitions, memorials, letters and other official papers and documents addressed to or received by him shall be methodically arranged and kept, with proper indexes therefor. He shall keep a record in proper books of:

1. (1) All his messages to the General Assembly;
2. (2) All bills presented to him in obedience to the provisions of the Constitution and all objections he may make to any of them;
3. (3) All official communications, proclamations and orders issuing from his office; and
4. (4) All other matters which he may think it important to preserve.
