1. (1) This rule pursuant to ORS 293.445 provides for the refund of monies paid to the Department of Consumer and Business Services to which the Department has no legal interest, or in excess of the amount legally due when paid for any program administered by the Division of Financial Regulation.
2. (2) Refunds exceeding $25 shall be made without a written request. If the refund owed is $25 or less, within 3 years of making the payment the person who paid the money or that person’s legal representative must make a written request for the refund.
3. (3) Fees paid for an application that is subsequently withdrawn, abandoned, or denied shall not be refunded.
