When a consultant responds to a request for a consultative service, the employer shall be advised:

1. (1) Of the purpose of the visit;
2. (2) Of the Administrative Rules and Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to consultative services; and

3. (3) That the consultation need not be limited to the specific problems or hazards contained in the request for consultative service, but may also include, at the request of the employer, assistance in developing a plan to correct hazardous conditions, and other services including but not limited to:

   1. (a) Health and safety program assessments;
   2. (b) Training on specific health and safety issues; and
   3. (c) Other assistance designed to promote more effective workplace health and safety programs.
