Okla. Stat. tit. 70, § 24-101.1
The board of education of each school district shall establish and implement rules which prohibit a pupil from possessing a wireless telecommunication device while said pupil is on school premises, or while in transit under the authority of the school, or while attending any function sponsored or authorized by the school. The rules and regulations shall provide that a pupil may possess a wireless telecommunication device upon the prior consent of both a parent or guardian and school principal or superintendent upon a showing of medical necessity or in other appropriate circumstances as specified in the rules. Students found to be in possession of a wireless telecommunication device in violation of the rules shall be subject to the provisions of Section 1 of this act.
