Development and Adoption of Four-Year Capital Improvement Plan

- A. Each local school district shall develop and adopt a four-year capital improvement plan for the public schools in the district and shall submit such plan to the State Board of Education as provided for in Section 1 of this act. Each local school district shall review and update their plans annually. Capital improvement plans shall be based upon guidelines developed by the State Department of Education.
- B. The State Department of Education shall develop and the State Board of Education shall adopt a statewide four-year capital improvement master plan for the public common schools of this state. Such master plan shall be subject to the provisions of Section 308 of Title 75 of the Oklahoma Statutes. All plans specified in this section shall be reviewed by the Common School Capital Improvement Needs Assessment Committee as established by this act.
