Okla. Stat. tit. 66, § 95
Every company, corporation, lessee, manager or receiver, owning or operating a railroad in this state, shall equip and maintain and use upon every and each locomotive being operated in road service in this state, an electric or other headlight of at least one thousand five hundred (1,500) candlepower, measured without the aid of a reflector: Provided, that this section shall not apply to locomotive engines regularly used in switching cars or trains: Provided, further, that this section shall not apply to locomotive engines used exclusively between sunup and sundown, nor going to or returning from repair shops when ordered in for repairs.
