The Commissioner shall have the power to issue, upon application and payment of fees, reciprocal licenses for persons licensed in other states to practice as a licensed marital and family therapist if the Commissioner deems such states to have qualifications and standards equivalent to or which exceed those required pursuant to the provisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act.
