Officers - Meetings - Quorom - Executive Secretary; Appointment; Powers and Duties

- A. The Board shall annually elect from its membership a chairman and a vice-chairman. Meetings may be called by the chairman, or upon written request of three members of the Board. Four members of the Board shall constitute a quorum. The Board shall meet the first Tuesday of January and July of each year. However, the Board shall meet as often as necessary. At its annual January meeting, the Board shall appoint the executive secretary.
B. The executive secretary, with the advice and consent of the Board, shall have the following powers and duties:
- 1. Record the minutes of all proceedings of the Board and keep such financial records as are necessary;
- 2. Keep an updated register of all persons and their addresses who are licensed under these provisions;
- 3. Upon recommendation of the Board, institute such civil or criminal proceedings as the Board determines necessary or appropriate;
- 4. Assist in administering examinations for applicants as approved by the Board;
- 5. Enforce rules and regulations for professional conduct of licensed social workers prescribed by the Board; and
- 6. Perform such other duties as the Board may prescribe that are necessary to the daily operation of the affairs of the Board.
