- A. No person shall practice occupational therapy or hold himself out as an occupational therapist, or as being able to practice occupational therapy, or to render occupational therapy services in this state unless he is licensed in accordance with the provisions of this act. The licensing provisions of this act shall not be applicable to a person who assists in the practice of occupational therapy as an occupational therapy aide.
- B. The provisions of this act shall not be construed to authorize occupational therapists or occupational therapy assistants to practice medicine and surgery within the meaning of Section 492 of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
