Okla. Stat. tit. 59, § 567.2
The purpose of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act, Section 567.1 et seq. of this title, is to safeguard the public health and welfare by requiring any person who practices or offers to practice registered nursing or practical nursing in this state to be a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse, and to submit sufficient evidence that he or she is qualified so to practice and shall be licensed as hereinafter provided. It shall be unlawful for any person to practice or offer to practice registered nursing, practical nursing or to practice or offer to practice as an advanced practice nurse, or use any title, abbreviation, sign or device to indicate that such person is a licensed registered nurse, or is a licensed practical nurse or an advanced practice nurse unless the person has been duly licensed and registered and recognized as meeting the qualifications as provided for in the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
