Any motor license agent appointed according to the provisions of Section 1140 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes shall have been a resident of the county in which his agency is located for a period of six (6) months prior to his appointment. Provided, that if a motor license agent moves his residence to a place outside said county, he shall forfeit his appointment.
