Okla. Stat. tit. 47, § 2-201
The Department of Public Safety is hereby authorized to purchase workers' compensation insurance from the State Insurance Fund for the uniformed employees of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the members of the Size and Weights Division of the Department of Public Safety and to purchase from any company authorized to do business in the State of Oklahoma for all personnel of the Department of Public Safety contracts for group insurance, including life, health, hospitalization, surgical and accident benefits in any of the forms customarily issued by any company or companies authorized to do business in the State of Oklahoma. There is hereby appropriated Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) from any monies in the General Revenue Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1962, and Forty-five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) from any monies in the General Revenue Fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1963, for the purpose of paying premiums on workers' compensation insurance, and contracts for group insurance, including life, health, hospitalization, surgical, and accident benefits.
