The Department of Public Safety is authorized to conduct Public Safety Patrol Schools as may be required and within the funds available to the Department. Provided, however, that no such school will be commenced nor any funds expended therefor until each individual school has been approved for implementation by the Contingency Review Board or the Legislature has previously authorized that school.
