Any person who knowingly makes or procures the making of a false statement in an application or certificate submitted pursuant to this act or any person who knowingly makes unauthorized use of an insignia issued pursuant to this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). This penalty shall be stated on all applications and certificates.
