Any person convicted of violating any of the provisions of the Odometer Setting Act with intent to misrepresent the true mileage driven of a motor vehicle shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment for not more than one (1) year, or by both fine and imprisonment.
