There is hereby created in the State Treasury a fund for the Department of Public Safety to be designated the Motorcycle Safety and Drunk Driving Awareness Fund. The fund shall be subject to legislative appropriations and shall consist of assessments collected pursuant to Section 2 of this act. The monies of this fund shall be used to promote public awareness of the dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol or any controlled substance and to promote motorcycle safety and defensive driving for youth.
