If the value of the money, property or valuable thing referred to in Section 1541.1 of this title is Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or more, any person convicted pursuant to this section shall be guilty of a felony. The fine for a violation of this section shall not exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)
