Okla. Stat. tit. 2, § 1301-305
The Board is empowered to cooperate with the United States Secretary of Agriculture and with communities, towns, cities and individuals in the planning, care and management of trees and forests for shade, ornamental and recreational purposes, and to improve air quality, reduce noise and conserve soil, water and ecological balance. Forest management to meet human needs for forest products is also authorized.
