A member of the commission may cease to hold his position on the commission for any of the following reasons, at the discretion of a majority of the commission, upon resolution duly adopted by the commission dismissing such member:

1. (1) Failure to attend two or more regular meetings of the commission;
2. (2) Ceasing to be a resident of the district from which he was appointed;

3. (3) Ceasing to be actually engaged in growing peanuts or participating in the program by not paying the assessment as provided for in this act.

   Members of the commission shall receive reimbursement for all actual and necessary travel expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties in accordance with the provisions of the State Travel Reimbursement Act.
