It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or association to have in possession or keep, sell or offer for sale, barter, exchange, give away or otherwise dispose of virulent hog cholera virus, in this state, except for research and experimental purposes, and only under the direction of the State Agriculture Experiment Station at the Oklahoma State University and under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian and a company, corporation or individual holding a license with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to produce hog cholera antiserum and/or hog cholera virus, and with a special written permit issued by the State Board of Agriculture. "Hog cholera virus" means alive or unattenuated virus administered to swine for the purpose of immunizing such swine from the disease known as hog cholera.
