The Board shall be the official state agency in the administration of the National Poultry Improvement Plan and the National Turkey Improvement Plan, as recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture, and shall be the official state agency to cooperate with the United States Department of Agriculture, or any other federal agency, or any other state, under the provisions of H.R. 4278, Public Law 425, 78th Congress (Chapter 412, United States Statutes at Large, 78th Congress, Second Session, 1944 - Part 1), or any other federal law or state law pertaining to the improvement of poultry, poultry products and hatcheries.
