Chapter 6. Execution, Acknowledgment and Recording
§6.6. Short Form Acknowledgments.
The use of the appropriate "short-form" acknowledgment authorized by the Uniform Law on Notarial Acts within an instrument appearing of record, in lieu of any applicable "long-form" acknowledgment authorized by law, shall not be deemed to be a title defect.

The 1994 Report of the Title Examination Standards Committee recommended this new standard. 65 O.B.A.J. 3334 (10/22/94). The Real Property Section approved it on November 17, 1994 and the House of Delegates adopted the standard on November 18, 1994.
