1. (a) Within forty eight (48) hours after the detention of any poultry or other article pursuant to 35:37-5-28, an authorized agent of the Board shall provide oral or written notification to any Federal, state, or other government authorities having jurisdiction over the article.
2. (b) Any oral notification shall be confirmed in writing as soon as circumstances allow.
