The department of medicaid shall conduct a rebasing at least once every five state fiscal years. When the department conducts a rebasing for a state fiscal year, it shall conduct the rebasing for only the direct care, ancillary and support, and tax cost centers. A nursing facility provider shall spend money received from the rebasing conducted in state fiscal year 2022 on the direct care, ancillary and support, and tax cost centers only.
