Developmental disabilities personnel who administer medications or perform health-related activities pursuant to the authority granted under section 5123.42 of the Revised Code are not liable for any injury caused by administering the medications or performing the health-related activities, if both of the following apply:

1. (A) The developmental disabilities personnel acted in accordance with the methods taught in training completed in compliance with section 5123.42 of the Revised Code.
2. (B) The developmental disabilities personnel did not act in a manner that constitutes willful or wanton misconduct.

The Legislative Service Commission presents the text of this section as a composite of the section as amended by multiple acts of the General Assembly. This presentation recognizes the principle stated in R.C. 1.52(B) that amendments are to be harmonized if reasonably capable of simultaneous operation.
