Ohio Rev. Code Ann. § 4731.16 – Determination of standards; examinations

(A) The state medical board shall determine the standing of the schools, colleges, or institutions giving instruction in the limited branch of medicine of massage therapy.
(B) The board may administer an examination of competency to practice the limited branch of medicine of massage therapy. If it administers an examination, the board shall establish by rule a fee to cover the cost of administering the examination. If it does not administer an examination, the board shall adopt rules under section 4731.05 of the Revised Code that specify both of the following:
1. (1) An examination acceptable to the board as an examination of competency to practice the limited branch of medicine of massage therapy;
2. (2) The score that constitutes evidence of passing the examination.
