(1) Until the date that is two years after the effective date of this section, an applicant for registration as a registered pharmacy technician who meets the requirements to be a qualified pharmacy technician under section 4729.42 of the Revised Code, as it existed immediately prior to the effective date of section 4729.95 of the Revised Code, may, instead of complying with division (B)(1)(e) of this section, submit an attestation from a pharmacy's responsible person that the applicant has completed a pharmacy technician training program that is of appropriate breadth and depth to clearly address the competencies for a technician to safely and effectively work in that particular setting and includes instruction in all of the following:
