(A) Annually, not later than the thirty-first day of December, the president, or equivalent position, of each state university shall issue a report regarding the remediation of students that includes all of the following:
- (1) The number of enrolled students that require remedial education;
- (2) The cost of remedial coursework the state university provides;
- (3) The specific areas of remediation provided by the state university;
- (4) Causes for remediation.
- (B) Each president, or equivalent, shall present the findings of the report to the state university's board of trustees and shall submit a copy of the report to the chancellor of higher education and the department of education and workforce.
- (C) As used in this section, "state university" has the same meaning as in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code.
