As used in sections 2923.124 to 2923.1213 of the Revised Code:

1. (A) "Application form" means the application form prescribed pursuant to division (A)(1) of section 109.731 of the Revised Code and includes a copy of that form.
2. (B) "Competency certification" and "competency certificate" mean a document of the type described in division (B)(3) of section 2923.125 of the Revised Code.
3. (C) "Detention facility" has the same meaning as in section 2921.01 of the Revised Code.
4. (D) "Licensee" means a person to whom a concealed handgun license has been issued under section 2923.125 of the Revised Code and, except when the context clearly indicates otherwise, includes a person to whom a concealed handgun license on a temporary emergency basis has been issued under section 2923.1213 of the Revised Code and a person to whom a concealed handgun license has been issued by another state.
5. (E) "License fee" or "license renewal fee" means the fee for a concealed handgun license or the fee to renew that license that is to be paid by an applicant for a license of that type.
6. (F) "Peace officer" has the same meaning as in section 2935.01 of the Revised Code.
7. (G) "State correctional institution" has the same meaning as in section 2967.01 of the Revised Code.
8. (H) "Civil protection order" means a protection order issued, or consent agreement approved, under section 2903.214 or 3113.31 of the Revised Code.
9. (I) "Temporary protection order" means a protection order issued under section 2903.213 or 2919.26 of the Revised Code.
10. (J) "Protection order issued by a court of another state" has the same meaning as in section 2919.27 of the Revised Code.
11. (K) "Child care center," "type A family child care home" and "type B family child care home" have the same meanings as in section 5104.01 of the Revised Code.
12. (L) "Foreign air transportation," "interstate air transportation," and "intrastate air transportation" have the same meanings as in 49 U.S.C. 40102, as now or hereafter amended.
13. (M) "Commercial motor vehicle" has the same meaning as in division (A) of section 4506.25 of the Revised Code.
14. (N) "Motor carrier enforcement unit" has the same meaning as in section 2923.16 of the Revised Code.
