* § 126. Application. For the purpose of filling vacancies occurring other than by the expiration of term in the offices of members of the senate and assembly elected at a general election in two thousand twenty, or at a special election held to fill a vacancy in the office of a member elected at said general election, the senate and assembly districts of this state, as existing immediately before the effective date of this article, shall continue to be respectively, the senate districts and assembly districts of the state. * NB Effective until January 1, 2023 * § 126. For the purpose of filling vacancies occurring other than by the expiration of term in the offices of members of the senate and assembly elected at a general election in two thousand twenty-two, the senate and assembly districts of this state, as described and set out in a chapter of the laws of two thousand twenty-two, amending the state law relating to establishing assembly and senate districts, shall continue to be respectively, the senate districts and the assembly districts of the state. * NB Effective January 1, 2023
