N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law § 27-3313 – Labeling and design requirements

1. On and after one year after the plan is approved by the department pursuant to section 27-3309 of this title, carpet sold or offered for sale in the state shall be accompanied by the following identifying information:
1. (a) Name of the producer and contact information; and
2. (b) Carpet material, composition, and type of construction.
2. On and after December thirty-first, two thousand twenty-six, no carpet sold or offered for sale in the state shall contain or be treated with PFAS substances for any purpose.
