As used in the Land Grant Support Act:

1. A. "council" means the land grant council; and
2. B. "land grant" means a patented community land grant-merced organized and operating as a political subdivision of the state.

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 2009, ch. 94 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 19, 2009, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
