Egg Inspection Fee

Effective Oct 7, 2025State of New Mexico
  1. A. The inspection fee on eggs sold in New Mexico to the retailer or to the consumer shall be fifteen cents (.15) per case of 30 dozen.
  2. B. The fee shall be paid by the egg dealer or producer who packages the eggs for sale to the retailer or consumer.
